FORMER BANKER AT OSAGE DIES; RITES FRIDAY

Osage – Arthur T. Altick, 62, former president of the Osage Farmers National Bank, died Tuesday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Champion funeral Home with burial in the Osage Cemetery.
Born at Dayton, Ohio, he was the son of Harry and Estelle Altick. He was graduated from Stivers High School, Dayton, and attended Wittenberg College, Springfield, Ohio.

He was an athlete in college and worked as an artist and cartoonist for the Monarch Film Corporation. He was president of the bank here from 1934 to 1957, and active in civic and community affairs.

Surviving are his wife, Lois; a son, Arthur J., Osage; five brothers and a sister. A brother preceded him in death.
