Mrs. Clara Trusty, 81,
Dies in Rochester

Funeral services were held last Tuesday at the Methodist church in Rochester for Mrs. Clara Trusty, 81, who formerly lived in the Osage vicinity. The Rev. A.E. Dripps was in charge of the services and burial was in the cemetery in Stewartville.

Clara Tryon was born April 13, 1874, in Floyd, and was married to William Trusty at New Hampton in 1892. Mr. Trusty died in 1945.

The Trustys farmed in Iowa for many years, both in Floyd and Mitchell counties. They moved to Stewartville in 1910, and to Rochester in 1917. Mrs. Trusty has lived at the home of her daughter
Mrs. Arthur Schultz in Rochester for the past three years.

She was a member of the First Methodist church in Rochester, was active in the Royal Neighbor lodge and the Wide Awake club there.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Schultz, two sons, Glenn of Milwaukee, Robert of Rochester, and another daughter, Mrs. Elmer Siedlitz, also of Rochester, 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
