Funeral services for Annie C. Moe were held Saturday afternoon, January 16, 1943. A prayer service was held at the Clare Moe home at 1:30 o'clock and at the First Lutheran church at 2:00 o'clock. The Rev. Olaf A. Langehough officiated at the obesquies.
Burial was made in the First Lutheran cemetery.
Annie Caroline Moe, daughter of Lars and Caroline Moe, was born in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, October 31, 1860. The family moved to St. Ansgar in July, 1869. Here she spent the rest of her life. She was confirmed by Rev. Norby at Six Mile Grove, November 4, 1877. She had been a member of the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar since 1940. She attended the St. Ansgar Public School and the Seminary and taught for several years in country schools and also in the St. Ansgar Public School. She was night operator for the St. Ansgar Telephone Company for 29 years.
She passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. Amelia Thorson, January 13, 1943.
Six nephews were the pall bearers.
