BURIAL OF MRS. LYMAN, 90, IN OSAGE CEMETERY

Osage – The body of Mrs. Jennie Lyman, 90, was brought to Osage for burial beside her husband, W. H. Lyman, who died more than 30 years ago. Mr. Lyman formerly was a partner with M. A. Sprague in a grocery business in the Sprague block.

About 50 years ago Mr. Lyman sold his interest in the store to Mr. Sprague who in turn sold to G. N. Symnes. Mr. Lyman moved to Mason City where he established a book store and was in business there until his death.

Mrs. Lyman then went to live with her daughter, Mrs. Jennie Younglove in Sioux City, where she died in January.

The body was brought here Thursday morning and services were held Thursday afternoon at the Champion funeral home.
