ROBERTS RITES HELD IN CHURCH
POSTMASTER AT LITTLE CEDAR FOR 30 YEARS DIES AT AGE OF 94

Osage, Dec. 1 – William Thomas Roberts, 94, who died at Little Cedar Sunday was buried yesterday afternoon, following a service at the Little Cedar Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Kern of Osage, and the Rev. Mr. Davis of Little Cedar.

Mr. Roberts was born in Ohio. He had been postmaster of Little Cedar about 30 years. His wife preceded him in death a number of years ago.

Two brothers and a sister survive; A. E. Roberts of Osage; Edward of Boise, Idaho; and Mrs. D. W. Leach, Spring Valley, Minnesota.

He also leaves five children; C. C. Roberts, Little Cedar; Mrs. Bradley Frazier, near Parker’s Prairie, Minnesota; Claude, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Merton Houghton, near Steele, N. Dakota; and Mrs. Frank Appleton, Little Cedar.

William Thomas Roberts died November 28, 1932 at the age of 94 years, 2 months, 1 day of pneumonia.

Note** This would make his birth date September 27, 1838. His Tombstone has 1839-1933

His wife Hannah died in 1919.
