CARPENTER, IOWA--Velda H. Anderson, 87, of Carpenter, died Tuesday (October 15, 1996) at the Good Samaritan Center, St. Ansgar.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Deer Creek Lutheran Church, Carpenter, with the Rev. Kathryn Larson officiating. Burial will be in the Woodbury Cemetery, Lyle, Minn.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, and one hour before services Friday at the church.

Velda H. Anderson was born May 21, 1909, near Gilbert.

Survivors include one foster son, Dennis Dedrick of Georgetown, Kentucky.; and one sister, Helen Harrison of Hampton.
