RICEVILLE — Harold Anderson, 84, of Riceville, died Saturday (Nov. 12, 2005) at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.

A memorial service for Harold Anderson age 84, of Riceville, Iowa, was held at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005.

Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Riceville. Harold passed away at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center-Hospital in Osage, Iowa on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005.

Harold was born on January 27, 1921 near Floodwood, Minnesota, to Newt and Lola Anderson. He attended local schools. On June 12, 1946 in Kendallville, Iowa, Harold was united in marriage to Evelyn Warburton. They farmed in the Riceville area their entire lives. Harold did custom farming work and carpentry for many Riceville area residents.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Evelyn, Gladys and Beulah.

Survivors include his wife Evelyn of Riceville; two sons, Doug Warburton and his wife Sue of Northwood, and Darrell Warburton and his special friend Heidi Paulus of Mabel, Wisc. Also surviving is a sister Blanche Smith of Riceville, four grandchildren and one great-grand-daughter.
