BIRRAN
Harry Albert Birran was born in Osage, Iowa, November 6, 1888, and died on December 8, 1906, aged 18 years 1 month. He was the eldest son of Samuel and Della Birran, and grew to young manhood in this city. He was a member of the second year class in our High School. Of a happy disposition, he made many friends who are grieved at his early demise. About two years ago he united with the Methodist church, and was a member of the Young Men's Bible Class in that Sunday school.
The funeral was held at the residence of his parents in this city on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, his pastor Frank P. Shaffer, officiating. His high school class and the Bible class of which he waa a member, were present in a body. Many beautiful floral tributes of affection surrounded his casket. After the services he was carried tenderly by his class mates, and laid to rest in our beautiful cemetery.
