Anna Whitney
Funeral services for Anna Whitney, age 47, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, Osage. She died Saturday, March 20 at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.
Friends may call at the funeral home until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. The casket will be closed at the church. The Reverend George Hope will officiate and burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Anna Whitney was born September 30, 1934 to Charles and Mabel (Pint) Bower. She was born and raised in Osage.
She is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Kenneth (Georgia) Weber and Pamela Whitney, both of Osage; Marian Whitney, Coppers Cove, Texas; and Letitia Whitney, Aberdeen, Maryland; two sons, James, Fort Devens, Massachusetts, and Victor, Osage; two grandchildren; and four sisters: Charlotte Moore, Longmont, Colorado; Mrs. George (Jeannine) Mullenix, Barstow, California; and Jeannette Harriman and Shirley Hinder, both of Fairbank.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
