OSAGE - Harry A. "Buck" Wolske, 97, of Osage, Iowa, died Wednesday (Sept. 18, 2002) at the Osage Rehabilitation Center in Osage.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 127 Third St. N.E. in Mason City. Interment will be in Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City. Visitation will be one hour before services on Saturday at the funeral home.
Buck was born May 29, 1905 in Menomonee, Wis., the son of Adolph and Christina H. (Vigerust) Wolske. He attended school in Mason City. Following high school he worked at Mason City Brick and Tile, later he began farming in the New Haven area and also worked at the Sugar Beet plant.
Due to ill health he retired from farming and moved to the Osage Rehabilitation Center.
He is survived by his two sisters, Florence Wolske, of Stacyville, and Maxine Wilke, of Oregon, Wis., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers James, Donald "Pete" and Robert Wolske; and four sisters, Alice Cookman, Helen Nowkowski, Margaret Dunbar and Dorothy Wolske; and a nephew, Robert William Wolske.
