RITES FOR MRS. OWEN TO BE HELD SATURDAY

Osage – Funeral services for Mrs. Will Owen, 87, who died Thursday morning after a ten day illness, will be held at the Champion Funeral Home at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon. The Rev. H. M. Grant of the Methodist church in Charles City, and the Rev. Glenn Hartong of the Osage Methodist church will officiate.
Burial will be in the Osage cemetery.

Frances Antoinette Whitaker was born December 1854 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of Benjamin Whitaker and Sophronia (Foreman) Whitaker. She married William Eugene Owen, the son of Abraham Owen and Eleanor (Boomhower) Owen.
