TWIN BROTHER SURVIVES FARMER AT OSAGEOsage – Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Champions Funeral Home for Harry Cummings, 73 who died Monday at the Cedar Valley hospital at Charles City.
Burial services were under the direction of the Rev. Mr. Smith, LeRoy Minnesota, and burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
Harry Cummings was born in 1869 in Jones County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cummings. At an early age he came to Mitchell County, and of his immediate family, only his twin brother, Henry, remains. He resided on the home farm north of Osage.

Harry Franklin Cummings was born October 6, 1869, the son of Charles and Aseneth (Page) Cummings. His twin brother died in 1958 in Minnesota and his date of birth is listed as October 6, 1869.

DIES AT CEDAR
VALLEY HOSPITALHarry F. Cummings, 73, passed away at the Cedar Valley hospital at Charles City, Monday after an illness of several weeks. His body was brought to the Champion Funeral Home, where services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, with burial in the Osage cemetery.
Mr. Cummings was born and lived all his life on one farm. This is located seven miles north of Osage and consists of a large acreage. He and his twin, Henry, have operated the place since the death of their parents many years ago.
Of a family of nine children, Henry is the only survivor. A nephew, Gilbert Cummings, and his family, have been living with the deceased and his brother and assisting them operate the place.
