AGED RICEVILLE WOMAN IS DEAD
BODY OF MRS. FOSTER, 93, IS BROUGHT FROM MINNESOTA FOR INTERMENT

Riceville, May 11. – Mrs. Alice Foster, 93, died at Browerville, Minnesota late Thursday. The body was brought to the home of her son-in-law, Hiram Gooder, Saturday and rites were arranged at the Methodist church.

Mrs. Foster was the mother of a large family, none of whom is now living in this community. She was a lifelong resident here, living on the farm four miles southwest of Riceville.

Alice S. Wells was born June 25, 1842 in New York. She married Isaac Foster (1836-1911), 1900 Census and death record: Her maiden name from 1925 Iowa Census, for her daughter Cora Foster Gooder.
