McINTIRE, IOWA — Funeral services will be at 10:30 a. m. Monday at St. Mel's Catholic church at McIntire for Gervis Jordan, 63, who died last Sunday at Los Angeles, Calif. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Mr. Jordan was unmarried.

He was born in McIntire in 1901, to Richard and Ellen Jordan.

He was a World War II veteran and after his Army service spent 12 years in construction work in Alaska, retiring nine years ago because of a heart condition.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Rose Runde, McIntire, and one brother, John, Waterloo.
