MISHAP FATAL TO ENOCH EIDEFORK THROWN FROM TOP OF HAY ACCIDENTALLY BY ROBERT SCHRAM, 17
Riceville – Enoch Eide, a 57 year old farmer living five miles southwest of Riceville, died Wednesday afternoon as a result of being accidentally struck in the back by a pitchfork thrown from the top of a load of hay by his hired man, 17 year old Robert Schram.
Eide was rushed to a doctor’s office at Riceville, but he died on the way into town.
He is survived by his wife and eight children, six of whom are married.
