ADAMS -- A memorial service for Daniel Wayne Henaman will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary Chapel, with the Rev. Joe Fogal officiating.

Mr. Henaman, 57, of Adams, died Monday at his home.

Daniel Wayne Henaman was born March 3, 1951, in Spencer, Iowa. He graduated from high school in 1970. He was employed by Quality Pork Processors and more recently as a security guard with the Hormel Foods Corporation in Austin.

Survivors include his fiancee, Cheryl Barrett of Adams; his children, Shannon (Donnie) Henaman-Thompson, Daniel (Nicole) Jr. of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Niki Henaman of Lyle, and Philip Henaman of Ramstein AFB, Germany; two stepdaughters, Allison and Amanda Barrett, both of Austin; five grandchildren; a sister, Sandy Huebsch of Osage Iowa; five brothers, Philip Henaman of Rosemount, Larry Henaman of Osage, Iowa, Kevin Hemann of Welcome, Minn, Rick Hemann of Marion, Iowa, and Mike Hemann of Stacyville, Iowa; and his stepfather, Marvin Hemann of Stacyville.

Friends may call an hour before the service Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials are preferred to the family.

Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin is in charge of arrangements.

Daniel Wayne Henaman was the son of Philip Herman and Dorothy Henaman. After his fathers death in 1953, his mother Dorothy married Marvin Hemann of Stacyville, Iowa in January 1960, the son of Anton and Alvina (May) Hemann.
