A.G. Schultheis
Dies in No. Dakota

A.G. Schultheis, brother of Ben and John Schultheis of Osage, died at his home in Grand Forks, N. Dakota, Friday, June 2, 1945. He was 84 years old and had resided in Grand Forks for the past 56 years.

Mr. Schultheis was born in 1860 near Caledonia, Minnesota. He came to Mitchell county, Iowa, with his parents who settled at New Haven. They came here in 1869 by oxen team and wagon.

Mr. Schultheis grew to manhood in the New Haven community, attended college at Quincy, Illinois, taught school a few years, then worked in Chicago for a time. He married Eliza Goodrich at Cresco, October 10, 1888, and the following spring they moved to Grand Forks, N. Dakota, where he engaged in insurance and real estate business.

His wife and son, Gerald, both of Grand Forks, survive him.
