Maurice B. Henderson died on January 16, 1987 in Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona. Burial is at Osage Cemetery.

He was born on July 16, 1904, in Osage, Mitchell Ccounty, Iowa, the son of Burton Irving and Stella Irene Knapp Henderson.

He graduated from Osage High School in 1924.

On January 16, 1943, he was married to Marcella Faye Hinman, daughter of Robert Alexander and Mabel L. Hinman at the Wesley Methodist Church in Minneapolis, with the ceremony performed by the Reverend George Mecklenburg.

At the time of his marriage Maurice had a position with the Gopher Ordnance Works in Rosemount, Minnesota. He had formerly made his home in Mason City and was an employee of the People's Gas & Electric Company.
