Theresa (Koenigs) Schneider 1893-1970

Mrs. Joe (Theresa) Schneider, 76, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital, Osage.
A resident of Adams, she is survived by her husband; four sons, William, Leo, and Paul of Adams, Joe Jr. of Taopi; four daughters, Mrs. Gilbert (Elizabeth) Fasbender, Mrs. Joe (Anna) Jax, Adams, Mrs. Sylvan (Angela) Winkels, Rochester, Mrs. Marvin (Mildred) Simon, Waterloo, Iowa; 29 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five brothers, John and Henry Koenigs, Stacyville, Leo and Phillip Koenigs, McIntire, Thomas Koenigs, Adams; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Elizabeth) Loecher, McIntire, Mrs. Peter (Anna ) Hartogh, Elma, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Adams.

SCHNEIDER:
Funeral services for Mrs. Joe J. Schneider, Adams, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, Adams, Rev. Clayton Haberman officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Adams Funeral Home until the time of service. Rosary services will be at 3 and 8 p.m. today and Tuesday.

Theresa Koenigs was born January 31, 1893 in Meyer, Mitchell, Iowa, the daughter of Peter C. Koenigs and Anna Marie Kloeckner. She married Joseph John Schneider, the son of Servatius Schneider and Mary Mullenbach.
