ORCHARD, IOWA - Dennis Starbuck, age 58, of Orchard, died Monday, May 9, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, at the Orchard American Legion Log Cabin. Inurnment will be at the Orchard Cemetery. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.

Dennis Starbuck was born November 28, 1952, in Charles City, the son of Leonard and Faith (Kay) Starbuck. He graduated from Osage High School in 1971. Dennis is survived by his daughter, Tracie Voaklander of Osage; his son, Ray (Mindy) Starbuck of Cedar Falls; eight grandchildren; five sisters, Darlene (George) Herman of Charles City, Barb Starbuck of Iowa City, Carolyn (Mike) Neis of Osage, Kathy Frazier of Forest City, and Karen Urell of North Liberty.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Ray.
