Osage: Paul Bartholmey 75, died Monday after a prolonged illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Visitation church in Stacyville, burial in the Visitation cemetery. the body is at the E. P Hatten funeral home in Stacyville.
Mr. Bartholmey, a painter, was born in Stacyville in 1876 the son of Theodore and Anna Mary (Henrici) Bartholmey. He moved to Osage as a young man. Sole survivor is a sister, Miss Susan Bartholmey, St. Paul, Minn. three brothers, John Nicholas and Matt, preceded him in death.

note* according to his WWI Draft Registration his first name was actually Vincent but Census records etc. show he always went by Paul.
The tombstone in Visitation Cemetery also has Paul on it.
