Harold W. Carrison

Funeral services were Saturday, January 7 at 3 p.m. for Harold Carrison, 74, a retired farmer in the Osage area. Reverend John Gilbert and the Reverend George Hope officiated at the service held at Champion Funeral Home. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery. Carrison died Thursday, January 5 at an Osage nursing home.

Survivors include his wife, Opal of Osage; two daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Linda) Burnett of Nashua and Mrs. Jerry (Judy) Randall of Waterloo; two sons, Robert and Clint, both of Osage; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Donna) Klingfuss of Cedar Falls; nine grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Mitchell and Mrs. George (Viola) Smolik, both of Osage, Mrs. Vernon (Doris) Hoisington, Orchard and Mrs. Royden (Gladys) Putnam of rural Osage.

Harold was born February 4, 1909 to Clinton and Ida Barker Carrison.

He was united in marriage to Opal Pearson, December 16, 1947 in Charles City. He farmed in the Burr Oak area for several years and moved to Osage in 1961. He was engaged in trucking until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by parents.
