Irene J. Reckner
Funeral services for Mrs. Richard (Irene J.) Reckner, 78, of Riceville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Riceville.
She died Sunday, January 8, 1984, at Elma Nursing Home.
The Reverend Bertrand Hinrichs will officiate and burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Riceville.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; three daughters, Mrs. Gaylord (Donna) Carter of Waterloo, Myrtle Lindenmeyer of Riceville and Dixie Dalluge of Buckingham; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Robert (Myrtle) Beach.

RECKNER, Irene J. 1905-1984
Funeral services were held for Irene J. Reckner, 78, on Wednesday, January 11, 1984, in the St. Peter's Lutheran church of Riceville, Iowa. Officiating at the service was Rev. B. Hinrichs. Mrs. Reckner passed away on Sunday, January 8, 1984 at the Elma nursing home.
Mrs. Reckner was born on May 26, 1905, the daughter of Henry and Jennie Niedert. On MArch 20, 1934, she was united in marriage to Richard Reckner and to this union three children were born.
Surviving her are her husband, Richard; three daughters, Mrs. Gaylord (Donna) Carter, Waterloo; Myrtle Linkenmeyer, Riceville; and Dixie Dalluge, Buckingham; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Robert (Myrtle) Beach.
She was preceded in death by her parents and onebrother, Arnold.
Interment was in the St. Peter's Cemetery with the Conway Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
