Buried in RicevilleOSAGE, IOWA, Feb. 27, 1930 — Funeral services were held in Riceville today for Mrs. John Marr, who died Tuesday morning at her farm home near Riceville from mumps and complications.
She was born March 24, 1874 near New Haven. She was married November 25, 1891, to John Marr.
Of their seven children, six survive. They are Mrs. John Hughes, Paul, Avery, Ralph, Mrs. Harry Thies, near Riceville, and Lester at home, also the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. John Green of New Haven; John Johanns of Osage; Mrs. Will Weinberger of Pine City, Minnesota; Mrs. Frank Wagner of Waseca, Minnesota; Ben Johanns of Racine, Minnesota, and Mike Johanns of Whitewater, Wisconsin.

According to a FindAGrave.com memorial, DM Scott has her husband as John P. Marr (1897- 1973), and gives her name as Mathilda M. Johanns Marr (1873-1930).
