Funeral services were conducted at the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar on Monday afternoon for Mrs. Mathilde Kinneberg Long. The Rev. T.P. Solem of Osage was in charge of the services. Interment was in the First Lutheran cemetery.
Mrs. Mathilde Kinneberg Long, daughter of Peter Kinneberg and Julia Hansen was born October 16, 1878, at St. Ansgar. She was baptized and confirmed in the First Lutheran church. In 1919 she was united in marriage to Spalding K. Long and they made their home in Omaha where they both engaged in the practice of law.
Mrs. Long passed away on August 24. Surviving are her sisters, Mrs. Marie Bartell of Waterloo, Mrs. Olga Zinn of Joplin, Mo., and Georgia Kinneberg of Los Angeles. A brother, J. Kinneberg of Sacramento, California also survives.
