CONDUCT SERVICE AT OSAGE FOR 53 YEAR OLD MRS. HALSTEAD

Osage – A service at the grave was held here Monday afternoon for Mrs. Frank Halstead, 53, who died Saturday at the Black Hawk County home in Waterloo where she had been a resident the past 14 years.

Surviving are a foster brother, Will Voaklander of Osage and a daughter Dorothy of Waterloo.

Her husband died in 1936.

Grace Voaklander was born September 1886 in Iowa, the daughter of William and Maria (English) Voaklander (according to the 1900 US Census and 1925 Iowa Census). She married Frank Halstead, the son of Magee Halstead and Deborah (nee Griswold) Halstead Tucker.
