MRS. GUTMAN OF ST. ANSGAR DIES
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE SATURDAY; HUSBAND AND DAUGHTER SURVIVE.
St. Ansgar, July 24. – Mrs. Carl Gutman, 36, who died Thursday morning at the Kahlu hospital at Rochester, where she had been the past month for diabetes treatment, will be buried tomorrow.
Mrs. Gutman leaves her husband and one daughter, her father and stepmother and several sisters.
Funeral services will be held at the Immanuel Lutheran church at 2:30 o’clock in the afternoon, the Rev. Mr. Brammer officiating.

Lillian married Carl Gutman, the son of Louis Gutman and Martha (Loeschpe)Gutman. His World War I draft registration has his full name as Fred Carl Gutman born May 22, 1892. The social security death record for him has Carl Gutman born same as above and died February 1972 in Galesburg, Illinois (agrees with his mother’s obit).
Lillians maiden name unknown as this time.
She’s buried in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery…her tombstone just has Lillian 1895-1931
