Frank A. Biwer was born on December 14, 1884 at Elma, Iowa the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Biwer.
On January 20, 1908 he was united in marriage to Lulu Beste at Cresco, Iowa. They farmed in the McIntire area all of their married life. Lulu preceded him in death two years ago on March 21, 1970. He was also preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and sisters.
Surviving is his one daughter, Vera (Mrs. Curtis Huddleston) of McIntire, Iowa, two grandchildren; Richard Huddleston of McIntire, Iowa and Mrs. Everett Wherry of LeRoy, Minnesota, six great-granddaughters and three brothers; Leo and Henry of Elma, Iowa and Domnic of Tuscon, Arizona.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 8, 1972 at 2 p.m. at the Martz-Hutchins Funeral home in LeRoy with Rev. John Gilbert officiating. Mrs. O.C. Satre was the organist. Interment was in the Wayne Cemetery at McIntire, Iowa. Casket bearers were: James Biwer, Claude Carroll, Donald Carroll, Lawrence Moore, Alden Harshbarger and Kersey Byrd.
