Funeral Held For
W. S. Perzynski, 85
Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Mel's Catholic church in McIntire for a resident of the David community, Walter Perzynski, 85, who died at his farm home near there, on January 2.
The Rev. John J. A. Breitbach, pastor was in charge and arrangements were by Hatten and Sons of Stacyville. Burial was at Visitation cemetery in Stacyville.
Walter Stanley Perzynski was born June 25, 1883, in Poland. The family came to the United States in 1922, and farmed in the David community since 1948.
Surviving are his wife, Frances; three daughters: Mrs. Glen (Jeanette) Johnson of Northwood, Mrs. John (Irene) Hanke of Stacyville, Mrs. Rex (Lydia) Penney of Dorchester, Wisconsin; one son, Edward, at home; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were one son, Theodore, who died in December 1967.
