Funeral services for George L. Larson, 67, who died at the Manly Care Center September 26, were held September 28 at the Schroeder & Dunn Funeral Home here with the Rev. Stephen Engelstad officiating.
George LeMar Larson was born in Mason City February 12, 1911, son of John and Ida (Kvale) Larson. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City and received his education in the Worth county schools. Mr. Larson was a retired factory worker.
He is survived by three brothers, Neul of St. Ansgar; Arthur and Virgil of Des Moines; three sister, Viola Larson of Des Moines; Mrs. Fred (Mildred) Koschmeder of Riceville; and Mrs. John (Betty) Grimm, Council Bluffs.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother, Albert, and a sister, Mrs. William (Hazel) Brandt.
Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery in Mitchell with Rev. Engelstad in charge of the committal services.
