Rites Saturday
for victim of
highway accident

OSAGE, IOWA — Funeral services are set for Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church here, for Henry Charles Sletten, 25. He was killed Wednesday while working on the highway five miles southeast of here. He was struck by a car driven by John William Hess, 82, of Floyd.

The Rosary will be recited Friday at 8 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A lifetime resident of this area, Sletten was graduated from Little Cedar High School. He was an ex-GI and had been employed in Minneapolis until two months ago. He had been working for the Highway Commission here just a month.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret, to whom he was married last February; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sletten, Osage; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence During, Mason City; two brothers, Lyle, in service in Colorado Springs, and Darrell, Osage.
