MRS. SIEMER DIED AT OSAGE
LEAVES A DAUGHTER,
TWO SONS – ONE OVERSEASOSAGE, IOWA – Mrs. Joe Siemer, 78 years old, died at her home here Friday night after an illness of a year’s duration. She had made her home in Osage for the past 30 ears.
Mrs. Siemer was born January 31, 1864 in Tomah, Wisconsin, and was married to Joe Siemer 55 years ago. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Florence Byvank of Osage; by two sons, Charles Siemer of Brainerd, Minn., and James O. Baker, now in the U.S. Transport service and at sea; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at the Champion Funeral home, The Rev. Glen Hartong of the Osage Methodist church will be in charge, and burial will be made in the Osage cemetery.
