RICEVILLE JEWELER DIES; RITES FRIDAY
Riceville – Funeral services for Lester E. Gooder, 76, have been set for 2 p.m. Friday at the Methodist Church here. The Rev. Robert Leverenz will officiate. Burial will be in the Wayne Cemetery at McIntire. The Chisholm Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Gooder died Tuesday at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, Minn. He was a retired Riceville jeweler and a member of the Masonic Lodge here.Survivors include his wife, Leah; a stepdaughter, Miss Marjorie Sharp, Chicago; a stepson, James Sharp, also of Chicago, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Enid) church, McIntire, and Miss Gladyce Gooder, Knoxville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by one sister.
