Is Buried at MitchellOSAGE, IOWA — Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Henry Bentley, 63, at Champion funeral home, under the direction of Ihe Rev. K. A. Kitzmann, St. John's Lutheran church. Burial was in the Oak Grove cemetery Mitchell.
Mrs. Bentley was born near St. Paul, Minnesota, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cook. She spent her girl hood in Minnesota and in Wisconsin and was married to E. Joyal, who preceded her in death. To them were born six children, all of whom survive, namely: Mrs. Elton Joyal of St. Paul, George, Glen and Harold at Osage, Mrs. Oliver Harbaugh Osage, and Mrs. Alice Rystad of Dover, Minn.
Mrs. Bentley was married to Henry Bentley and they made their home in Osage. He survives, his wife, as well as one sister, Mrs. John Davis of New Auburn, Wisconsin.
Mrs. Bentley has been in failing health for the past few months and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harbaugh, at Osage Saturday at 11 A.M.

#2:Mrs. Henry S. Bentley, 64, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lura Harbaugh Saturday morning, after a long illness. She had lived in this vicinity for the past 30 years, and leaves a wide circle of friends to mourn her passing.
Nancy Mae Bentley was born May 26, 1880, the child of Asa B. Cook and his wife, Anna, nee Allen, near St. Paul, Minnesota. The family moved to the state of Wisconsin in deceased's early childhood. When she was yet a girl her mother passed away. She received her schooling under pioneer conditions.
She was married to E. Joyal and to them were born six children. He passed away and later she married Henry S. Bentley of Osage.
Surviving is her husband; her six children: George, Glenn and Harold Joyal and Mrs. Lura Harbaugh, all of Osage; Mrs. Charlotte Joyal, of St. Paul, and Mrs. Alice Rystad, of Dover, Minnesota; also a sister, Rose Davis, of New Auburn, Wisconsin, and several grandchildren.
Mrs. Joyal was received into membership of St. John's Lutheran Church on June 15, 1943. She received comfort and assurance from the word of God, and died peacefully in this Christian faith, August 7, at 11 o'clock. She had reached the age of 63 years, two months and 11 days.
Funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the Champion funeral home, in charge of her pastor, the Rev. I.G. Kitzmann, and burial was in the cemetery at Mitchell.
