O.W. Weaver Dies
At Home Daughter,
Mrs. Earl SamuelsO. W. Weaver died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Earl Samuels, Monday night after a long illness. Mr. Weaver was born on February 1, 1851, and lacked but twenty-three days of being 90 years of age.
Although London, Ohio, was his birthplace he spent practically all of his life at Clinton, Illinois. There he married Amelia Waller, sixty-five years ago. She preceded him in death in 1923 and four years ago he came to Osage to live.
He is survived by his daughters, Mrs. Samuels, Mrs. E. E. Hensen, of Chicago, who has been here the past two weeks assisting in his care, and Mrs. Minnie Irwin, of Hallsville, Illinois. Mrs. Hensen took her father's remains to Clinton for burial Tuesday and Mrs. Irwin met her there. Mrs. Samuel's was unable to make the journey because of sickness.
Funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon and interment made in the Clinton cemetery.
