James Sweney 1907-1948

Relatives here have word of the death of James Sweney, 40, a former Osage resident, at his home in Peoria, Illinois Wednesday.

He was born September 30, 1907, in Osage , Mitchell, Iowa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Sweney, and shortly after high school graduation moved with his parents to Peoria, Ill., to make his home.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters and one son, his parents, two sisters and one brother.
His aunt, Mrs. Faith Hill, Osage; rites at Peoria Saturday afternoon.

Note* His father Paul Sweney was the son of James Irvine Sweney and Sophia (Tucker) Sweney.
