Mable Johanna Havig was born the 24th of December 1894. She was baptized at the St. Ansgar U.N.L. church on the 3rd of March, 1895. She attended the St. Ansgar public and high schools until April 1911 when her health failed and she had to discontinue school work.
She was confirmed by Rev. Waldeland on April 25th, 1909.
After a lingering illness she passed away quietly on the 26th, of May. The funeral took place at the U.N.L. church Sunday, May 28th, Rev. Waldeland officiating, and her remains were laid to rest at the U.N.L. cemetery north of St. Ansgar.

We hereby desire to express our heartfelt thanks to the many friends who sent tokens of sympathy, to those who so kindly remembered Mabel during her illness, as well as to every one who helped to make the memorial services a comfort to our sorrowful hearts.
