Mrs. Addie Hatfield
Passed Away
After Short Illness

Mrs. Addie Lugg-Hatfield was born December 22, 1871 near Burr Oak. She was taken ill Friday night, contracting pneumonia the following Wednesday, and passed away Tuesday, February 5, 1924, at the home of her son, Jay. She was one of seven children born to Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Lugg. All but nine and one-half years of her life was spent in Mitchell County.

In her early twenties she was married to Guy N. Hatfield, of Osage. Five children were born to this union: Mrs. Frank Evans and Mr. Jay Hatfield of Osage, Mrs. Einar Hyberg of Minneapolis; Mrs. Herman Molstad, of Osage, and Mr. LeRoy Hatfield, of St. Paul. There are seven grandchildren, also three brothers and one sister, C. L. Lugg, of Osage; A. R. Lugg, of Parkers Prairie, Minnesota; J. E. Lugg of Osage, and Mrs. G. H. Featherstone, of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Her father and mother and two sisters preceded her in death. Her husband preceded her fourteen years ago, the 17th of April at Mason City, Iowa.

As a member of the Baptist Church of this city she was known by her many friends and acquaintances as a Christian woman.

The funeral services will be held at the Baptist Church Thursday, February 7 at 2 o'clock. As there is no pastor at the Baptist church, Reverend W. T. Smith of the Methodist Church will conduct the services.
