ART NIXON RITES SET AT OSAGEOsage – Funeral services for Art Nixon, 76, are set tentatively for Monday at 2 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
He died at the Osage Nursing Home Friday night after suffering a stroke. The son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nixon, he was a lifetime resident of Mitchell County. He had been employed many ears by the former Young Lumber Company here. He was a Veteran of World War I.
He is survived by a brother, Walter, San Benito, Texas; and a sister, Mrs. Alice Heberly, New Hartford.
