Gaylord Lunde
OSAGE, IOWA - Gaylord Lunde, 77, of Osage, died Friday, Dec. 19, 1986, at an Osage nursing home.
Funeral services will 2 p.m. Monday at Rock Creek Lutheran Church, rural Osage, with the Rev. Roger Hoppenworth officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Lutheran cemetery, rural Osage.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Sunday at Champion Funeral Home, Osage.
Mr. Lunde was born on December 30, 1908, in West Cedar Township, Mitchell County, to Gustav and Tillie (Leverson) Lunde. He attended country schools in the Osage and Nora Springs areas and graduated from Nora Springs High School. On Feb. 22, 1937, he married Ruth Hvattum in Osage. She died in 1985.
They farmed in the rural Osage area until 1967 when they retired to Osage.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Sharon) Ellingson, Linton N.D.; one son, Glennys, Osage; six grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and one brother, Herbert, Nora Springs.
