RITES TENTATIVE AT OSAGE FOR FRANK JACOBS, 83
Osage – Funeral services are set tentatively for Wednesday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home for Frank Jacobs, 83, who died Monday morning at his home is Osage. He had been in poor health and was hospitalized several times during the past year.
Mr. Jacobs was born at Three Rivers, Michigan, May 14, 1874, the son of Joseph and Mary Jane Jacobs. He came to Osage vicinity with his parents at the age of 2, and has lived here since.
He was married to Nellie Robertson September 4, 1895. She preceded him in death in 1955.
Mr. Jacobs was a farmer. After he retired he became an insurance agent in Osage. He was active in the Farm Bureau, an officer of the Osage Cooperative Creamery and a director of the Farmer’s Cooperative Oil Co.
Surviving Mr. Jacobs are one son Dean, Osage; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Hogan, Council Bluffs, six grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren

Frank Jacobs was the son of Joseph Jacobs and Mary J (Miller) Jacobs, and his wife Nellie was the daughter of William Robertson and Mary (Primrose) Robertson.
