Clifford Towner 1905-1962

ELMA SERVICES FOR CLIFFORD TOWNER, 56

Elma – Clifford Towner, 56, who farmed northeast of Elma, died suddenly Sunday.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Elma Methodist Church. Burial will be Osage Cemetery with Conway Funeral Home in charge. Surviving are his wife and a son, William.

Clifford Towner was born December 18, 1905 in Mitchell County, Iowa, the son of Fred Henry Towner and Maude (Sherwin) Towner. He married Frances Fern Linn.
