Mary Elizabeth ( Mangrich) Tireman 1871-1947
Osage – Funeral Rites have been set for Monday at 2 p.m. in Little Cedar church with Rev. E. E. Pencook of St. Ansgar officiating, for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Tireman, 76, who died Saturday at a Stacyville convalescent home, having been in ill health for some time.
She suffered a stroke a week ago. She was born to Peter and Mary (Dostart) Mangrich at Janesville, Wisconsin, September 12, 1871.
As a child she accompanied her parents to New Haven and married William Tireman, November 25, 1891. The established their first home east of Osage and within a few years moved near Charles City, then near Orchard, and for a number of years had resided near Little Cedar.
She leaves her husband; two sons, Harold, New Orelans, and Howard, Little Cedar; a daughter, Gertrude; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and two sisters; Mrs. Frank Tubbs, Charles City, and Mrs. Clarence Farnham, Rockford, Ia.
Preceding her in death were two daughters; Mrs. Louise Rowland and Mrs. Pearl Beckner, several brothers and a sister. Burial in Little Cedar Cemetery.
