CHARLES HART DIES IN OSAGE

Osage – Charles Hart died early Thursday morning after suffering complications of a heart ailment.
Born in 1865 on his parents’ farm near here, he spent his entire life in this community. He was married in 1886 to Mattie Bailey of Osage and they moved 30 years ago to their home here, where he died.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Bert Wilson of Osage, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Lohr of Esteline, S. Dakota. Funeral arrangements were incomplete Thursday.

HART FUNERAL RITES TO BE SATURDAY IN OSAGE FUNERAL HOME

Osage – Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Champion funeral home in charge of the Rev. John D. Kern of the Osage Baptist church for Charles Hart, 77, a life-long resident of Mitchell county, who died Thursday morning at his home after several weeks illness.

Born in 1865 on the old Hart homestead near Osage, he was married in 1886 to Mattie E Bailey. They farmed for a number of years and 30 years ago moved to Osage.

Surviving are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Bert Wilson of Osage and a sister; Mrs. Mary Lohr of Esteline, S. Dak.
Burial will be in the Osage cemetery.

Charles Henry Hart Jr. was the son of Charles H Hart Sr. and Sarah Eliza (Howard) Hart.
