Loretta Agnes (nee Marley) Whitcher 1888-1947
Mrs Otis Whitcher, 58, of Livermore, Ia., died yesterday at 10:35 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Ms. Ray Sours, 1021 Grant Avenue from leukemia.
She was born in New Haven, January 28, 1888, the daughter of David and Mary Marley In 1908 she was married to Ed Moran, who preceded her in death, March 4, 1929. She had been employed by the Davidson furniture store until September 29, 1945, when she was married to Otis Whitcher at Livermore, Ia.
Surviving are two children by her first marriage, one daughter, Mrs. Ray Sours 1021 Grant avenue and one son, Ray Moran, Compton, Cal.
Two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Boyd, Livermore, Ia., and Mrs. F. L. Kathan, Humboldt, Ia., one brother, Frank Marley, of New Haven, Ia., and four grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Sacred Heart church in Osage, Ia, and burial will be in the Sacred Heart cemetery there.
