DONALD A. BRANDAU

OSAGE, IOWA - Donald A. Brandau, 58, of Osage, died Monday (March 13, 2000) at the Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

Don was born May 1, 1941, at Charles City, the son of Lloyd and Ida (Mills) Brandau. He attended schools in Osage and Rudd. He farmed and currently was employed at Winnebago Industries in Charles City.

He enjoyed working on cars, car racing, fishing, camping, being outdoors and spending time with family. Donald was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Champion Funeral Home, 702 State St. in Osage, with the Rev. Dennis Hanson officiating. Interment will be in the Eden Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Rudd.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Champion Funeral Home.

Donald is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Brandau and her children, Rebecca Deetz and Christopher Deetz, of Osage and Emmalee Brandau, of Osage; a son, Allen Brandau and his wife, Elisa, of Savannah, Ga.; and a special friend and fiancee, Laurie Martin, of Charles City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother-in-law.
