JULE H. RIEMAN

OSAGE, IOWA - Jule H. Rieman, 74, died Sunday, August 20, 2000, at his home in Osage, of natural causes.

His body was cremated, and there will be no visitation. A private committal service will be held at a later date.

Jule was born June 20, 1926, on a farm near Rudd in Floyd County, Iowa, the son of Hi and Marie (Weaverling) Rieman.

He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. Jule was united in marriage to Gisela Meister on December 4, 1948, in Frankfurt, Germany.

He farmed in the McIntire and Little Cedar area. Jule was a custodian at the Osage Middle School, retiring in 1988.

He was a life member of the V.F.W. and a member of the Little Cedar United Methodist Church.

Jule is survived by his wife, Gisela, of Osage; a daughter, Shirley Stephen and her husband, Richard, and their son, Ryan, of Mason City; a special aunt, Esther Stiller of Nora Springs; a sister, Irene Schupanitz and her husband, Leo, of Mason City; two brothers, Jurn Rieman and his wife, Jane, of Rudd, and Richard Rieman and his wife, Cora, of Mason City; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
