ARCHIE THOMPSON
Funeral services for Archie Thompson, 83, of Osage were held on Friday, Feb. 24, at Champion Funeral Home in Osage. He died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1984 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.
Rev. George Hope of the First Baptist Church, Osage, officiated, with burial in Brownville Cemetery, rural Osage.
A longtime Osage resident, Mr. Thompson was a former employee of L.R. Falk Construction Company in St. Ansgar.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda; two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Dorothy) Mostek of Camanche, and Janice Leegaard of Osage; three sons: Richard of Marshalltown, David of Sioux City and Randy of Osage; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Haaken (Juanita) Rohne of Osage and one brother, Tilford of Huxley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ray and George, and one sister, Dorothy.
