RITES AT NEW HAVEN SATURDAY FOR MRS. FRANK JAHNEL, 89
Osage – Funeral services will be held at the Catholic church in New Haven Saturday morning at 10 o’clock for Mrs. Frank Jahnel, 89, who died Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Jennings, in Austin, Minnesota.
She was born and spent her girlhood in Roxbury, Wisconsin. Then she was married to Frank Jahnel and they settled on a farm near Carpenter. Thirty years ago they moved to New Haven where they lived since. Mr. Jahnel died nine years ago. The past three winters Mrs. Jahnel had made her home with her daughter in Austin.
Surviving are 11 children: Mrs. George Jennings of Austin, Minn.; Pete Jahnel of Moberly, Mo.; Frank Jahnel; Henry Jahnel; and Mrs. L. T. Rodemacher of Murdo, S. Dak.; Mrs. Ben Johanns of Racine, Wis.; Mrs. Mollie Linekugal of Sac City, Wis.; Ed Jahnel; Herman Jahnel; and Albin Jahnel, all of New Haven; Mrs. William Sefert of Brainerd Minn. Burial will be in the New Haven cemetery.
