Osage – Charles Lewis, 93, died Monday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Champion Funeral Home.

Surviving are two sons, Lee, Orchard; Howard, Osage; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Mildred) Williams, rural Osage; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. He was the last survivor of 13 children of John and Mary Lewis, Osage pioneers.

CHARLES LEWIS

Osage – Funeral rites will be Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home for Charles Lewis, 93. He died Tuesday morning at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. The Rev. Norman Brooks will officiate, with burial in the Orchard Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home is in charge.

Charles Lewis was the son of John Lewis and Mary Voltenburg. He married Lillian (nee Lee) daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Lee.
